Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
I love this above scripture. It reminds me that those are the things that I need to be thinking about. Not the things that didn’t turn out like I thought they would, not the terrible traffic, not the people that get on my nerves.. bu the good, true,noble lovely things. So that is what I am going to focus on more. In honor of that.. I have been thinking about a few things I love!
I love my husband. I love to watch him preach, every time. I love how he makes me feel, I love how Ethan can talk him into stuff, I love that he is not mechanically inclined, I love how he is OCD about stuff being hung up crooked, I love how he picks his clothes out for Sunday on Saturday night – and they are ironed and neatly organized. I love how he puts us first.
I love my Ethan. He is a miracle to behold. That little 8 year old boy captures my heart. I love how he is such a talker, I love that he is extremely compassionate and caring, I love how much he likes going to church, I love how much he knows about technology, I love how much he likes structure and routine, I love how strong willed he is about things he really believes in- this can be challenging to keep directed in a positive manner, but I love it!
I love my family! My parents are amazing and I know that they would do anything for me, that has made me who I am today! I love my little brother and sister-in-law! He is one of the wittiest people I know. I love my baby nephew, Cayden. He is such a wonderful gift from God!
I love Oasis Church! I am amazed by the people there everyday! So many great people that truly love other people.
I love not being sick! I love sonic ice-cream and milkshakes from Ed’s. I love Italian food. I love watching movies. I love Sunday afternoons and Saturday mornings. I love to read. I love thunderstorms at bedtime. I love bedtime prayers with Ethan. I love coffee. I love the beach.
I love my Saviour! Jesus is the reason for the abundant life I have of such lovely things to meditate on!
