I actually really like Valentine’s Day! I know.. there is a history behind it that I should look in to and blah, blah, blah. Truth is, I just love holidays and I don’t care how this one originated, I use it to celebrate Love. I like to make things at our home special, and Valentine’s Day is a way to do that. This week I will probably blog a lot about the things I love!! I stole this from Holly Furtick – this year at our house I got little mini mailboxes. One has my name, one has Eric’s and one has Ethan’s. We have all been leaving each other notes this week. When you leave a note for someone, you put the flag up so they know they have mail. It has actually been really fun. There is something special about writing love notes on paper. My son, Ethan, actually likes to leave us chocolate, which he knows is one of his mommy’s favorite things! The Bible talks a lot about love… I would challenge you for the week of Valentine’s to do a mini bible study on love, and I would challenge you to show the people in your life how much you love them and how special they are to you!
